Sarah Henke

"For me, the best thing about cooking is that you can always combine new dishes and flavors."

Sarah Henke brings the diverse flavors of Asia to the plate in sophisticated and pointedly presented creations. Sarah earned her first Michelin star in 2013. In 2015, she took over as head chef for the reopening of Restaurant YOSO, where she was awarded a Michelin star in 2018 and held it until she left the company in 2022.

Her husband, Christian Eckhardt, accompanied the reopening of Restaurant PURS as head chef in 2017. There, he was awarded two Michelin stars in his first year. After his training, he gained experience at Restaurant Bareiss in Baiersbronn, Restaurant Aqua in Wolfsburg, and Schloss Schauenstein in Switzerland – all of which have three Michelin stars. To this day, Christian can look back on many successful years as a head chef and is one of the 30 best chefs in Germany.

Lemabri

"To create a restaurant where we ourselves love to eat" – this is the motivation of Sarah and Christian for opening their first own restaurant. After years of work and experience in star gastronomy, the couple is breaking new ground with Lemabri.

Lemabri's food concept will incorporate influences from all over the world, paired with unmistakable refinement in texture and acidity. Sarah contributes her expertise from Asian flavor cuisine, characterized by spice, while Christian adds his Francophile creations to the overall concept.

At Lemabri, not only the culinary offerings but also the ambiance are in focus. The goal is to create a place of enjoyment for the whole family. Whether for a quick lunch, a relaxed dinner, or a family celebration in a small or large group – the restaurant in Boppard-Buchholz, Rhineland-Palatinate, is designed to be a place for well-being and enjoyment.

"With the new concept, we can now express ourselves freely and cook without pressure. Less mental stress and more heartfelt cooking are now our top priorities."
