Tobias Bätz began his impressive culinary journey at the renowned Restaurant Rottner under the guidance of Stefan Rottner in Nuremberg. His talent did not go unnoticed: in 2005, he moved to sunny Mallorca to Restaurant Tristan under the direction of Gerhard Schwaiger, which proudly boasted two Michelin stars. There, at the young age of just 21, he quickly rose to the position of sous chef.
In 2008, his career took an exciting turn when he joined Alexander Herrmann at the award-winning restaurant in Wirsberg, which was honored with a Michelin star in the same year. Just one year later, in 2009, Bätz was head chef alongside Alexander Herrmann. His outstanding skills earned him membership in the elite circle of Jeunes Restaurateurs in 2017. And in 2019, he crowned it all: a second Michelin star now shone over his work.
