Niklas Oberhofer, a culinary talent, began his career as a chef at Lumperhof in Ravensburg. He refined his expertise at the renowned Hotel Bareiss in Baiersbronn, followed by a position at the two-Michelin-starred Geisels Werneckhof in Munich. At the Michelin-starred Hotel Villino Lindau, he expanded his expertise as Chef de Partie.
In addition to his cooking career, Oberhofer earned his academic qualifications as a state-certified Hotel Business Economist and Master Chef at the Hotel Management School in Heidelberg. He then took over the kitchen and gastronomy management at Klettis Genussboutique GmbH.
As head chef of the restaurant "epoca by Tristan Brandt" at the Waldhaus Flims Wellness Resort in Switzerland, Oberhofer played a key role in its redesign and opening. There, he gained significant recognition: in 2020, Gault-Millau awarded him 16 points and the title "Newcomer of the Year." In 2022, he organized the impressive "Waldhaus Flims Festival of Arts."
In October 2022, Oberhofer's skills were rewarded with a Michelin star, and shortly thereafter, he achieved third place in the "Chef of the Year" young chef competition. In November of the same year, Gault-Millau Switzerland honored him with 17 points.
Beyond the kitchen, Oberhofer has also found success on television: at the beginning of 2022, he was crowned champion on the Swiss SAT1 cooking show "Beef Club."
