Kai Weigand has worked his way up at a young age. After his training at Landhaus Tanner, he spent several years in the restaurants of 2-star and TV chef Tim Raue, where he honed his skills in the two-star restaurant, as well as in the Brasserie Colette and Sra Bua. As head chef at Gutshaus Stolpe, he earned a Michelin star before moving to Hamburg in April 2022, where he now puts his own spin on the Peruvian-Japanese menu at the NIKKEI NINE restaurant on the Binnenalster.
