Heiko Nieder

Since the opening of the restaurant, Heiko Nieder has held the position of Chef Fine Dining. He has received numerous awards for his aromatically diverse dishes. In 2010, he was awarded his second Michelin star, and in October 2012, he earned his 18th point in Gault-Millau. Furthermore, he was named "Rising Star of the Year". In July 2013, the Swiss business magazine "Bilanz" named him "Hotel Chef of the Year" as part of their hotel ranking. In November 2014, Gault Millau Germany honored him as "Best German Chef Abroad". In 2018, Heiko Nieder initiated THE EPICURE gourmet festival, held annually in autumn at the Dolder Grand. In the same year, he was selected as "Chef of the Year 2019" by Gault Millau and received his 19th Gault-Millau point.

In collaboration with Matthaes-Verlag, Heiko Nieder has published his first cookbook. The 384-page book "Heiko Nieder – The Restaurant" is aimed at gourmets and lovers of culinary delights who want to be inspired by refined recipes and high-quality images.

The Restaurant (2 Michelin stars, 19 GaultMillau points), Restaurant Saltz with local influences (15 GaultMillau points), the Japanese restaurant Mikuriya (16 GaultMillau points), the garden restaurant blooms (14 GaultMillau points), trendy pop-up restaurants, the annual festival The Epicure, and the
bar invite hotel guests and the public. The terraces offer views of the city, the lake, and the Alps.
