For the graphic pattern, Nesmuk produces the folder blades from 11 layers of damask. The construction of the exclusive folders requires absolute precision and is carried out at Nesmuk exclusively by trained goldsmiths who possess the necessary sensitivity for handling precious materials.
Sophisticated Construction
For the "invisible" construction, the fit of all individual parts must be accurate to a hundredth of a millimeter. This is the only way the Nesmuk Folder becomes a hand-flatterer without visible rivets, screws, or gaps. The sophisticated construction also prevents the blade from striking when folded.

Nesmuk Folders are equipped with sterling silver and genuine gemstones as standard. The processing of lapis lazuli and other gemstones requires the highest level of craftsmanship and goes beyond the capabilities of normal goldsmiths. For the perfect hand-flatterer, each folder is finally completely hand-ground and polished, or the silver is hand-finished with precise hammer blows.
